The Baltimore Heritage and Civic Works is pleased to offer a behind-the-scenes tour and glass of wine for up to twelve persons at Clifton Mansion, the summer home of philanthropist Johns Hopkins and one of the last grand Italianate mansions in Baltimore. This site is not usually open to the public.
The mansion retains much of its historic detail, and its 85-foot restored tower boasts one of the best views of Baltimore City. The tour will be led by Chris Wilson, who oversees the building and its restoration. After the tour, guests will enjoy a glass of wine and social time on the porch of this signature building. The package also includes one limited edition print of the mansion by Baltimore artist Greg Otto.
Special Instructions
Tour can be scheduled during a weekday, evening or weekend. Up to a dozen persons. Site is not handicapped accessible.
