A personal tour of Historic New Harmony led by the director, Connie Weinzapfel, a welcoming gift basket from the Museum Shop, an overnight stay at the New Harmony Inn and dinner for two at the award-winning Red Geranium Restaurant.
Historic New Harmony is a community that began almost two hundred years ahead of its time. New Harmony was first a spiritual sanctuary for the Harmonie Society that later became a haven for international scientists, scholars, and educators who sought equality in communal living under the guidance of Robert Owen and William Maclure. The New Harmony Inn is nestled on the bend of the Wabash River in southwest Indiana. 125 acres of gardens, fountains, ponds and sculpture at the Inn provide a stunning backdrop for your visit. The New Harmony Inn is truly a unique hotel which creates a peaceful environment for you to get away from the everyday.
