Park City Historical Society & Museum, UT - Autographed Leather Jacket from Sundance Film Festival

Item Number: 317
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Wear what the stars are wearing! This beautiful leather jacket was donated by Hollywood Life Magazine during the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Originally intended for Paul McCartney, the festival organizers decided against giving a vegetarian and animal activist a leather jacket. During the 2006 Festival, the jacket was signed by many actors, among them Jim Carrey, Pierce Brosnan, John Corbett, Greg Kinnear, Carmen Electra, and musician Gavin Rosdale (Bush). This is your chance to wear a jacket intended for Paul and to be a part of the world-famous Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah!
The Park City Historical Society & Museum, located in the heart of Park City's historic Main Street, was established in 1981. Its mission is to preserve, protect and promote Park City's heritage. Park City is well known for skiing and for hosting the annual Sundance Film Festival, so visitors are often surprised to learn about the town's origins as a silver mining camp, where prospectors discovered silver in 1868.
