       A Penn's Plan Author's Tour which entails a private guided tour with John Andrew Gallery, author of ‘The Planning of Center City Philadelphia: From William Penn to Present ‘. Mr. Gallery, a well known and published urban planner and Executive Director of The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, will lead you through William Penn's urban plan and design, as shown through the layout of Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood, one of the first developments of Penn's Plan. This extensive 2-hour tour includes a light lunch at a local café and signed copy of Mr. Gallery's newest work (2007) ‘The Planning of Center City Philadelphia: From William Penn to Present' (limit one per household).
