Description

Enjoy a one night stay at the Nationally Registered landmark The Morris House Hotel located just off of Washington Square, dinner for two at neighboring restaurant "M at the Morris House" and admission for two to a guided historical walking tour of Society Hill.
Built in 1787, the Morris House Hotel is located in the historic district of Philadelphia known as Society Hill, just two blocks from some of our nation's most important landmarks such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Formerly the private home of one of the city's first Mayors, Anthony Morris, the house was occupied by various Morris family members for over one hundred and twenty years. The site has won a reputation on its own as one of the finest remaining examples of colonial residential architecture in Philadelphia. Extensive renovations helped turn this 18th century handsome brick residence into a luxury boutique hotel which offers the coziness of a bed and breakfast.
This overnight stay is paired with a sumptuous three-course dinner for two designed by Chef David Katz at renowned neighboring restaurant "M at the Morris House," and admission for two to a guided historical walking tour of Society Hill as led by one of the experienced and well versed guides from the Society for the Preservation of Historic Architecture's renowned Landmark Tours.
