Description
A registration to the "Exploring the Preservation and Interpretation of Franklin's Civil War Story" battlefield symposium from June 21-24, 2007 at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs in Franklin, Tennessee. Registration includes: breakfast, lunch and reception/dinner on Friday & Saturday, as well as Battlefield Tour and all workshops on Friday & Saturday. The Battlefield Tour is a 5.5 hour tour including ten stops, transportation and a box lunch.
This symposium, organized by Franklin's Charge, is the summer's most exciting and comprehensive Civil War heritage event held at the site of the cataclysmic Battle of Franklin on November 30, 1864 where you can participate in battlefield tours, roundtable discussions with noted Civil War scholars, and special events. Comprehensive guided tours of the many historic buildings and landscapes associated with the 1864 battle as well as the town's compelling occupation and emancipation stories from the war years will be featured.
