Description

A "Deadwood-South Dakota Experience" package for two persons which includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic Adams House museum, a copy of Adams House Revealed, an overnight stay at the Historic Franklin Hotel in downtown Deadwood with two complimentary meals and a walking tour of Deadwood's Main Street led by a local historic preservation representative.
Experience Deadwood, from its raucous, boomtown beginnings to the Western life of luxury, guided by experts in the field. The Historic Adams House, built in 1892, is an elegant Victorian mansion which has undergone a detailed, museum-quality restoration. This grand home bears witness to the story of two 19th century families, and reveals a cultured lifestyle not commonly associated with the American West. The Adams House Museum is the oldest history museum in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Pioneer businessman W.E. Adams built the museum in 1930 as a memorial to his family and to honor the early pioneers that settled the Black Hills.
