Description

Two of St. Mary's County's premier historic attractions have joined forces to introduce you to three centuries of Maryland history.  An overnight stay at the elegant Brome-Howard Inn for two, as well as a tour of Historic St. Mary's City guided by its executive director and a basket of souvenirs, and then four tickets to tour Sotterley Plantation and four tickets to the Riverside WineFest at Sotterly 2007, along with a tote bag of Sotterley and Historic St. Mary's memorabilia.  Click here for a detailed list of the package offered.
Historic St. Mary's City is a museum of living history and archaeology that commemorates the 4th permanent English settlement in North America and Maryland's first capital.  You can spend a day among all the demonstrations and activities offered while enjoying the view of the Chesapeake Bay.  The Brome-Howard Inn was listed as one of Washingtonian Magazine's "most romantic bed and breakfasts."
Overlooking the scenic Patuxent River, Sotterley Plantation encompasses nearly 100 acres of rolling meadows, Colonial Revival gardens and shoreline as the sole surviving Tidewater plantation in Maryland that is fully open to the public.
