Today it is owned and managed by Comte Denis de Kergorlay, who being the oldest male in the family, inherited from his father according to the aristocratic tradition." ... At Chateau de Canisy one can enjoy the splendor of the true "Vie de chateau" and feel at home. They simply try to give you the best room available, subject to availability. Because Denis runs the place in a very enchanting and peculiar way and they are very seldom full, almost on purpose. I guess he does not want to be mistaken for a hotel by any standards!."
