Frank Sofo is well known for his Nancy Drew illustrations. Here he has taken a Channel Two pillowcase and created a colorful and detailed drawing of a boy at the seashore. The lad appears so involved in the wonderful world of his imagination that the peacefulness permits a curious seagull to approach him without fear.


Anyone who grew up near the seashore must have some memories of scenes like this. Wouldn't this be perfect hanging in one of the rooms of your summer cottage by the sea?


The illustration measures 18 by 22 inches and is framed to the left of the pillowcase. It is signed in the lower left, F. Sofo.
