Description

This beautiful new architect-designed Mexican villa, Casa de Lago (house of the lake), is located on a five acre lake on the Mayan Palace golf course in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. A mere 20-minute walk to the ocean and nearby restaurants.

Swimming, horseback riding, scuba diving, whale watching (January through March), fishing, golf plus every water sport you can think of! Casa de Lago is located on the Mayan golf course where you can play at the reduced locals' rate of $50.00 per round (9 holes).

This item was donated by David and Catherine Peters, and Kent and Sarah Smith, founders of The Celebration of Life Project, dedicated to the rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit. By renting the villa to private individuals, and making it available to charitable fundraisers, they are able to subsidize the donation of many "free" weeks to families who would greatly benefit from such a vacation but would otherwise not be able to afford it. The opening bid is $3,200 of which, $2,500 is returned to the Celebration of Life Project in order to subsidize those families in need. The remainder will go to St. Anselm School.

Ammenities include three bedrooms, in addition to a couch in the downstairs living room that converts to a queen size bed. There are also two rollaway cots. Also has high speed internet, and wireless connections for guests that bring their laptops, with inexpensive long distance service to area codes 614, 415 and 530 area codes in the United States.

Restricted to adults 25 years and older and accompanying children. Please note there is no pets or smoking. Dates are offered on a "first come, first served" basis.

The winning bidder will have 30 days to select a date. If a date is not selected within 30 days, Celebration of Life will donate your week, in your name, to the Leukemia Society. Donated weeks provide a wonderful healing vacation for families who have suffered through difficult medical situations and who otherwise could not afford to get away.
