Description

After receiving her degree in Fine Arts, Barbara Lavallee a native of the Midwest went to Sitka, Alaska to teach art in a native boarding school. Described as a "painter of happy subjects," Barbara's joie de vivre is evident in her lively folk art designs, captured beautifully in these delightful cloisonné earrings.

Cloisonné is an ancient form of jewelry art whereby the artist uses wire to create a raised pattern on a curved surface, and then fills that pattern in with colored enamel.

This is a Live Event Item.
