An oil painting by artist Marjorie Ball portrays the approach to Providence from I95 North.

The piece was chosen from hundreds of entries from Rhode Island Artists as the "Best in Show" in the Scenes of Rhode Island Exhibition.

This commemorative piece was designed to acknowledge the depth of artistic talent and aesthetic beauty found throughout the State of Rhode Island.

The original painting is on display in the Governor's office at the State House.

Print is framed and signed by both the Governor and artist and is numbered 67 out of a limited print of 100 pieces.
