The arts program enhances the wonderful and rigorous academic program at the Lycée. Our students benefit from visual and musical arts as part of the academic program in the classroom. We are proud to be able to offer additional musical and performance arts opportunities on campus every year.

Last year, the Fund a Need raised $21,000 for the Arts Program at the Lycée Français La Pérouse. These dollars funded art related field trips, additional art supplies, new musical instruments, provided maintenance on current musical instruments, art history materials and initial stage improvements.

Funds raised through the 2007 Fund a Need will continue to benefit the arts programming at the Lycée Français La Pérouse.

Art - Each primary school class will receive funds to create or expand a 6-week class in arts, music or performing arts!

Music – Concerts and performances will be enhanced with the purchase of a baby grand piano for the Ortega Stage.

Performance - Improvements will be made to the stages on all three campuses to provide the best facilities to showcase our children’s talents.
