The Down Lowe formed in early 2006 and started playing shows later that summer. Matt Lowe has been crafting these songs since the early 1990's and has played many of them in several different outfits. He joined DJ Lowe in the Bay Area around the turn of the century and they became regular players on the open mic scenes in Sausalito, Mill Valley, Fairfax, and San Francisco. DJ met Mike Davis in 2004 and introduced him to Matt and, hence, the music. This trio played with at least a dozen drummers before finding Kevin Borges, who completed the four-headed monster that is now... up for auction!
