A vibrantly executed 2 1/2' by 2 1/2' abstract, non-narrative painting by Patou. Patou uses a variety of blended colors laced with heavy knife textures -- connecting lines become softened and flow together so the line no longer exists. The colors in this particular painting are reminiscent of Van Gogh's Irises.

Patou was born in Monte Carlo & grew up in the countryside of Provence. In her early twenties she worked in studios on the French Riveria and in Paris. Her work is exhibited in Italy, France, Switzerland, and throughout the United States.
