black onyx necklace,a microcrystalline variety of quartz.  The necklace is trimmed with marquisite beads.  The centerpiece is a marquiste pendant in the form of  a purse.  The beads are onyx.  The clasp and small silver beads are all sterling silver.  The necklace is strung on silk thread and individually knotted by hand.  Designed and strung by Leah Slotnick.
