There is no expiration date on the certificate, but please note that the certificate includes shipping from Brown Paper Chocolates (which is located in Texas) to the McLean area, as long as the weather remains under 70 degrees during the shipping, in which case no special handling is required to maintain the freshness of the chocolate. In hotter periods (such as shipping during the summer months), additional shipping/handling charges may apply.
