Size of tree will be 6’ height. This grower promotes a fairly straight central leader which creates a real tree-like appearance. Botanical name- Acer palmatum variety dissectum ‘Viridis’ Common name- Green Cutleaf Japanese Maple
Virdis is the classic weeping form of the dissectum Japanese Maple types. Suitable for sun or shade, it is the envy of every serious gardener.
Texture- Fine; Growth rate- slow; Native Habitat- China, Japan; FFall color- Bright Orange to red; Bark- Smooth muscular and gray; Foliage- bright green; Shape- weeping; Mature size- 10’ x 10’; Note- able to be carefully pruned to maintain the size; Few pest or maintenance issues. Does not need an over abundance of water.
