Wendy Miller Anello is a native of Berkshire County. In these prints, she combines the medium of photography and oil paint to create a work of art.

Hand painting photography dates back to the early twentieth century. In current times, it allows the artist to use a black and white print to capture a moment, and then hand paint the photographic image using oil based paint. It is this process that allows the artist to create or enhance an existing image to how she portrays it or wants the image portrayed.
