Valerie James created the successful Val's Resturant & Pizzeria nearly nine years ago. Val, as she is known by many, first came to Holden fifteen years ago opening a smaller, take-out business. After meeting hundreds of local residents,remembering thier orders each time & feeling at home in Holden, Val and her devoted staff wanted more.Val transformed her business into a full-scale resturant with a wide variety of selections & a 200 seating capacity. Even with the volume of customers, Val and her staff continue to welcome each person whom walks through the doors as family. Each patron keeps coming back for unmatched hospitality, a quality dining experience-yet with the casual dining at home without having to do the dishes! Val thanks her dedicated clientele throughout the years and welcomes new faces with just as much joy. She continues to grow as a restaurateur to stand by her motto of doing what it takes to keep each customer happy.
