An evaluation of the product:

It's kind of amazing that you can now get a video recorder that is light years ahead of even the best VCR from just a few years ago at a fraction of the cost. I picked up the Samsung last week for $150 and have been pleased with its performance.

 The Samsung DVD-R120 DVD Recorder is a multi-format recorder capable of recording video on to the following formats; DVD-RAM, DVD-R or DVD-RW discs. The DVD-R120 also works as a player capable of playing the following formats; Audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM. Another interesting feature is the unit has an DV input terminal on the back. This will allow you to connect and record digital video content from a DV Camcorder.
