A few words from Jill, "When the students reach the eighth grade they learn to sew using electric sewing machines. By this time they have had a firm grounding in various handsewing techniques and are usually quite eager to use machines. This curriculum supports their main lesson study of the Industrial Revolution. I am needing a treadle sewing machine for the students to use as a way for them to experience an in between step in the development of the sewing machine. It would be a wonderful experience for them to sew and use their whole bodies in the treadle rhythm. I am hoping to be able to provide this for them with your help. Thank you!!!"
