Tasting Notes
Our Viognier has a very nice light straw color. The nose is BIG (seriously, like Pinocchio big): it starts out with all the floral Viognier notes you expect, then the fruit tones like nectarine and apple fall on your head like a Sir Isaac Newton daydream until the citrus and tropical fruit aromas take over and bring you back to reality and send you racing for the nearest hammock on a beach. The flavors carry through to the palate where the crisp acidity gives the wine its long refreshing finish.

Technical Notes
The fruit for this wine comes from the family vineyard in Suisun (Sue-Soon) Valley, bordering the southeast edge of Napa County. The grapes were harvested on the 28th of September at 27.2 brix. The juice was then cold fermented and aged 10 months in stainless steel until bottled on the 3rd of August. The wine did not undergo any malolactic fermentation.
