This "chic temple of top-notch nouveau American cuisine" was voted "Houston's most romantic restaurant" for 2006.  Mark's boasts golden ceilings and hand-painted deco walls in a beautiful renovated 1920s church, and food that has been called "exquisite," "genius," and "inspired."  It tastes pretty good, too.  :O)
