This picture was taken by John Duffy, local photographer and HSI Board member. It was taken from the "U Bein's Bridge" in Amarapura (just outside Mandalay) in January 1999. The bridge is 1.2 km long and made of teak taken from the Ava Palace (previous royal residence) and crosses Taungthaman Lake.
