Conundrum, or puzzle, is a blend of five grapes: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and --for its intriguing floral/tropical character -- Muscat Canelli with small amounts of Semillon and Viognier.  This results in an "unusually aromatic, multiflavored and lusciously textured wine" (Food and Wine's Wine Guide).  The 2001 vintage, according to its winemaker, Jon Bolta, wraps together an array of floral aromas with tropical fruit, peach, apricot, spice and zingy citrus flavors in a creamy, unctuous texture.  Drink now through 2010.
