This amazing, one of a kind piece of art is a hand painted watercolor by our Kindergarten teacher Nancy Long!  This painting is matted and framed in a 22 in x 28 in a cherrywood frame.

Nancy has a bachelor's degree in Art from Texas Tech University and a Post Bach degree in Art Education.  She's been expressing her love for nature, flowers and animals through transparent watercolor for many years and have been showing and selling her watercolor paintings most recently in Texas.

She's always inspired and in awe of the beautiful colors and forms that God has placed in all of nature.  She most often paints from photographs.  "Melissa's Blossom" was painted from a photograph she took of a beautiful dogwood tree at a friend's house.  It was painted on an archival synthetic paper new to the watercolor arena.
