Special Instructions

The estimated value of this package is $10,130. 

Airline redemption instructions will be provided to the winner.  The following rules and restrictions apply.   

  • Transportation will be valid through May 09, 2008.
  • American Airlines Travel Authorization Certificates ("TACs) cannot be bartered or sold for cash, or in lieu of cash payment.
  • The activity must be related to or part of a fund-raising event over which the organization has complete control and that will also include promotion(s) of American Airlines. Activities that are not directly connected to such a fund-raising event and those that are conducted by or in connection with 3rd parties are not permitted (including, but not limited to, the offering of TACs on public auction web sites such as eBay).
  • Participants' travel must originate and terminate in the American Airlines city nearest the city of residence providing direct service. Direct service is travel on a published routing between two points, and any connection must be a standard connection for that route. Transportation on other carriers, ground transportation and overnight lodging, if required, will not be at the expense of American. Stopovers are not permitted, and tickets are not transferable or refundable. The tickets are further considered void and forfeited if sold for cash.
  • All federal, state and local taxes will be the responsibility of the traveler. Travelers are subject to Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) at most domestic U.S. airports. When making reservations, please have a credit card available for all applicable charges. The applicable Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) must be submitted at time of ticket processing.
  • All insurance, and any applicable airport charges, including excess baggage charges, airport taxes, international fees, fuel surcharges and any applicable Customs or Federal Inspection fees will be the sole responsibility of the traveler.
    Any changes after ticketing will result in a One Hundred dollar ($100.00) service fee per ticket. Some blackout dates may be applicable. Participant will be advised in advance if blackout dates apply.
