Jerome led the Sonics in blocked shots during both the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons and he recorded his first career double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds at Toronto 2/24/02. He played for the Harlem Globetrotters on a nine-country European tour in the fall of 1998. In 1997-98 as a senior at Florida A&M, he led NCAA Division I in blocked shots (4.63 bpg). After both his junior and senior seasons, he was named to the All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference First Team.
