Living in Key West, one of the most beautiful places in the world, I am offered endless inspiration for subjects to paint. The sea & sky, birds, mangroves, & marine life are a wonderful challenge to represent. Combine these with a colorful Maritime History filled with Pirates, Galleons, & Wreckers that play out a historical drama in this setting of beauty. Then one has even more inspiration to portray events & tell their stories.History & Art are the two things I've loved most in my life. I find an abundance of both in Old Key West.I invite you to click on the links to the left to explore my world of Marine Art. -David Harrison Wright
