Description

The vessel Dream Catcher is a 74' steel schooner. She was built at Treworgy Yachts in Palm Coast, Florida in 1996. She was designed by marine architects Woodin and Marean from Maine.

Her conception, design factors, and interior design came from Captain John Duke who grew up on the waters of Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida and has been sailing these waters for 40 years. During this time he has worked with scientific research groups, youth groups, and environmental groups. Captain John has been US Coast Guard licensed since 1979 sailing the Florida Keys and Bahamas. The Dream Catcher is now sailing the waters here in South Florida.

Sleeps 19 for overnight voyages (sail training programs, family reunions, bird watchers). Open to 49 guests for day trips.

The Dream Catcher is ideal for large families, youth programs, university marine science programs and groups (scouts, clubs, students, corporate ,camps) interested in participation and learning the fundamentals of sailing, navigational skills, and marine sciences. We are looking for groups that want to be part of the adventure!

We are also available for Romantic Weddings at Sea and Family Reunions.
