Barbara Whitford, a professional artist, lives in Jamestown. She has painted a number of landscape commissions and pet portraits for private collections throughout the U.S. and Canada. She was a charter memeber of the Boulevard Studio & Gallery and is now Secretary of The Newport Artist's Guild. She is a memeber of both the Newport Art Museum and the Conanicut Island Art Association, Newoirt Art Museum, Spring Bull Gallery, Happy White Gallery and the Hope Gallery. Her work has also been in the juried Beaux Arts Festival in Florida and in Texas at the Rockport Art Museum. Commissions and pet portraits are painted upon request.
