Winemaker's Tasting Notes: The 1999 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a garnet color. It possesses an expressive nose of cassis syrup, ginger, roasted coffee and black licorice. This wine has great balance, depth and length on the palate with beautiful integration of tannins. This Cabernet will continue to improve until 2025, with proper cellaring.
