An original portrait painting from a favorite photograph could be your family's most treasured gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduation or a special birthday or anniversary.  This item is a $1,000.00 gift certificate to apply toward the purchase of just such a commissioned original portrait by Nomi Wagner of Oxnard, California.

Combining fine art and technology, Nomi Wagner will create an original painting from the winner's favorite photograph.  The winner has the option of having a photograph taken by Nomi at Mandalay Beach in Oxnard, CA, for no additional charge to use as reference for the portrait.  The winner's commission is for a portrait on fine art watercolor paper of any size desired up to 30 inches x 40 inches.

Throughout the creative process, Nomi will work closely with the winner to create an heirloom that will be loved.  Nomi's portrait painting fee for one person, a head and shoulders pose in a simple background, is $2,500 (less the winner's $1,000 gift certificate).  The total fee might increase if the winner chooses a different pose, desires one or more additional persons in the portrait, and/or wants a landscape or other detailed background.
