Rogers & Brothers, started in the early 1820s, was a manufacturer of silver plate flatware and hollowware.  In 1898, Rogers Bros. became a part of the International Silver Company.  The gravy boat and serving plate are attached to one another, and have the Rogers Bros. mark on the underside of the plate.  The marking has a small star, followed by the words “Rogers & Bro.”
