Les Vinney is President and Chief Executive Officer of STERIS Corporation and is a member of its Board of Directors. STERIS develops, manufactures, and markets infection prevention, contamination prevention, microbial reduction, and surgical support
systems, products, services, and technologies for healthcare, scientific, research, industrial, and government customers worldwide. The Company was founded in 1987, and is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio. Prior to joining STERIS, Mr. Vinney served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The BF Goodrich Company.

Les Vinney, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science, and a Master of Business Administration degree, with distinction, both from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. Mr. Vinney serves as Chairman of NorTech (Northeast Ohio Technology Coalition) and Vice-Chairman of Team NEO, organizations promoting economic and technology development in Northeastern Ohio. He serves on the Boards of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Campbell Soup Company, University Hospitals Health System, the Ohio Business Roundtable, the Greater Cleveland Partnership, and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), where he serves as chair of the Medical Technology Preparedness Council.
