Description
This hand-built clay mask entitled "Sun Chief" was inspired by Native American designs. The decorative wall piece was created by Prescott artist Joan Maloney. Joan works with clay to design, form, glaze, and finally, to add decorative elements to her masks and sculptures. Her work is shown at El Pedregal in Scottsdale, Mountain Spirit Gallery on Whiskey Row in Prescott, and galleries in Jerome and Sedona.
This amazing mask is done in red and tan with dark green glazed accents, raffia, beads and feathers. This stunning piece is 7" wide, and 13" overall. Check this item often, since it will certainly be very popular.
