Description
This stunning carousel horse was hand carved by a well-known artist in Laguna, California for a collector who paid $10,000 for it about 10 years ago. The proud steed is mounted on a traditional brass pole, which is solidly fixed to a platform and rockers. He can handle up to 750# on his back, and will never buck you off or flip over. His right side (the “Romance Side”) is decorated with flowers and jewels: his mane, tail and accents are gold guilt. Numerous years of use by children, adults and household pets (and the dry Prescott weather) have given him—shall we say—a little extra character without reducing his beauty. These minor cosmetic issues can all be obliterated by a restorer (an excellent one right in P.V. in fact) if you would prefer the “perfect look.” You have a chance to own this exciting find for a fraction of its true worth. Attend the “Silent Auction” party event following the on-line auction to see its exceptional beauty and “ride” him in person. Item weighs about 200#, is 60” long, 22” wide, 66” high.
