Antique Wash Stand with Towel Rod

Item Number: 151
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Late 19th century primitive. This charming washstand was probably handmade out in the barn for the family’s use. There are several types of woods used, giving a sense of the “use what you’ve got” era of long ago. Drawers and door have a unique construction and hand carving. Casters are hand made of hard wood. Towel rack mounts separately. All it needs is a bowl and pitcher sitting on it, a chamber pot beneath, and a lovely towel draped over the rack. Perfect for a bedroom or any other room that needs a bit of antique charm.
