Local glass artist, Holly Sokol has created this piece for the UAF Auction.  Each piece is entirely hand made from glass and precious materials.  They are fused together in the intense heat of her kiln.  Between 12 and 20 steps, many of which are of her exclusive, unique design and invention, are required to complete a piece.  One process results in her own formula of mineral based paint, is then "reversed fired" and sealed forever between a layer of black and clear glass.

The 1" square pendant is double sided, and can move and rotate on the sturdy black, adjustable cord on which it is strung.
