Description
Imalota is a very typical Guatemalan bear. Notice his vest of traditional Guatemalan material, his fetishes sewn on the front of the vest, and his neck chain of local seeds. He's looking for a "forever family" here in the United States (not that he doesn't love Guatemala, he wants you to know) where he'll be loved and protected. He reminds us that his many small adornments can be a choking hazard for children, so he'd prefer just to be a special friend to adults. Our good friend, Iris Wolfe, bear artist, designed and created Imalota and his ethnic attire just for this auction. 18" over all, 14" when sitting.
