What a wonderful donation for some lucky bidder! These opals were mined in Honduras--where the black opal is a new find--but not polished to a high shine as are most. They have almost a matte finish, and yet the green, blue, red and yellow fire is evident when the light hits them. Unfortunately, you are unable to see this in the photo shown here. The earrings are of the same opal: Extension chain, clasp and French hoops are of Sterling Silver. Necklace adjusts from 18 to 20".
