"Rose" created by artist Merri Roderick, is the first of the limited-edition dolls in the Romantic Flower Maidens collection. She is born of fine bisque porcelain, and hand-painted by her designer, Merri Roderick. The limited edition for her closed on December 31, 1989. This sweet beauty is number 1478D in the limited edition.

"Rose, Who is Love" is a young woman who can sit or stand wherever you choose to place her. She holds a long-stemmed rose and has her basket of roses close by (or, she can be posed holding the basket as in the photo).

This is a unique piece and would be wonderful as a piece for that granddaughter who is just showing interest in collecting porcelain dolls.  All original certificates and information is present.
