Description

Artist Lana Ante Created these beautiful pieces specifically for United Animal Friends' auction.  The turquoise is unusual and spectacular.  Black veins run through the stone with the appearance of (don't get ahead of us here)...a spider's web!  The pendant is beautiful on both sides and is a full 1-1/2" by 1".  The pendant hangs almost 3" from the lovely 18" rope chain.  Earrings hang almost 1-3/4".  Chain and all the "bits and pieces" are of Sterling Silver.

Lana explains that the American Indians called Turquoise "blue stone" and considered it a sacred stone.  Many people are convinced that it has healing properties.  Regardless, it's just plain beautiful.  See more of Lana's work at Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery at 134 S. Montezuma.
