Jessica Torrant is a full-time artist at the Indian Orchard Mills Studio in Indian Orchard, MA. Born and raised in Connecticut, she returned to her home state after earning her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art at the University of New Hampshire. She also participated in the National Student Exchange Program for a semester at the University of California in Santa Cruz.

Her artwork has been internationally collected and exhibited throughout the United States and abroad including the London Raw Arts Festival in 2005.

Torrant's artwork reflects her energy and enthusiasm for life. She likes to work in an abstract expressionistic style, with free, intuitive strokes and splashes of paint. Her love of color is evident in all of her vivid paintings, and raw emotion is poured into all that she does. She enjoys creating compositions that are non-representational, because she can greater express a feeling or state of mind, and it leaves room for the viewer to engage his or her own imagination. Unbridled Joy is a recent painting that exemplifies this style and the future of her work.
