Description

Size: Framed 24" x 18"

This color woodcut is a landscape depicting Hampstead Heath in North London, England, is numbered 2 of 25 and has a donor value of $1,500.

The winning bidder of the work will also enjoy a private tour of the artist's studio.

Offner began his career as a print maker and book maker, with woodcuts being among his first works. His primary craft, however, is his award-winning sculpture, and he is a master of bronze casting. He imparted his love of the craft to students at Smith College, where he was a humanities professor for three decades.

Offner still takes great pleasure in creating woodcuts and tries to do several a year, as it is a medium that allows him to express his love of nature and landscape.

This is a Live Event Item.
