Born and educated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mary Rosenthal is a graduate of Carnegie Tech. with a B.A. in Painting and Design. She has also studied sculpture with Helen Shapiro, etching and collagraphy with Robin Freedenfeld, and basics of weaving with Barbara Elsner. Exploring a variety of media is Rosenthal's delight.  She is a member of the Springfield Art League.
