- Red Auerbach was the architect and mastermind behind one of the most dominant franchises in professional sports history, the Boston Celtics. The cigar-chomping Auerbach coached 11 Hall of Famers and led Boston to 10 Eastern Division titles in 16 years. With his recent passing, his legacy is now complete: Red left a mark on a sport that was enhanced by his competitiveness, determination and fairness. But beyond the sport, he left a mark on a city and a culture through his willingness to see beyond the racial barriers and work towards a common goal - team victory. This photo is indeed autographed by Red Auerbach. This is a sports collector's dream!
