The food is to die for! As described in a review by Gayot, Cafe Bizou features innovative, contemporary fare with a strong French foundation. Cafe Bizou (French for "little kiss") has a well-deserved devoted following. Starters include lobster-and-salmon ravioli, tuna tartare and wonderful sweetbreads in a balsamic sauce that also turn up as a main course. Among other entrée choices are sesame-crusted salmon over potato pancakes in red wine sauce, steak au poivre and roasted chicken with pommes frites. Housed in a cottage reputed to be the former home of actor/comedian Bud Abbott, this is a cozy, casually elegant dining venue. Be sure to call well in advance for weekend reservations.
